Volunteers make Lubbock Impact happen. Each program has core leadership volunteers that organize their particular ministry or program. These folks are vital to what happens at 34th and Boston! For the first five years of Lubbock Impact’s existence, the ministry was run solely by volunteers. At the 5- year mark, the Director of Operations and Facilities Manager was hired, and at the 10- year mark, the Executive Director was brought on board.
Rory, her husband Kurtis, and their three children were part of the founding group of Lubbock Impact. Throughout the first decade, Rory and her family served in ministries all over the building. As of January 2018, Rory was hired to lead Lubbock Impact, supervise the ministry growth and raise funds for all of the programs.
Director of Operations
For 5 years, Wanda served Lubbock Impact as a volunteer until she was hired as their one and only employee in 2012. As the Director of Operations, she keep the ministry going on a daily basis, takes care of building upkeep and is in charge of our Client Care.
