For the first five years of Lubbock Impact’s existence, the ministry was run solely by volunteers. In 2012, the Director of Operations was hired to oversee the daily management of the building and activities. As Lubbock Impact continued to expand, the Executive Director was brought on board in 2017. In 2020, Lubbock Impact took on the Executive Assistant to help with the flourishing ministry.

Becky Robertson
Executive Director
Becky has worked with nonprofits for the last 24 years. When she moved to Lubbock in 2014 with her husband, Matt, she quickly began volunteering to get to know her community. One of the places she served was Lubbock Impact. She loved how they were meeting the immediate physical need of a meal or healthcare of a fellow neighbor. As of March 2021, Becky was hired to lead Lubbock Impact, supervise the ministry growth, and raise funds for all of the programs.

Wanda Brunson
Director of Operations
Wanda, a member of the Family Church before it became Lubbock Impact, has been with the ministry from the very beginning. She served Lubbock Impact as a volunteer for five years until she was hired as its one and only employee in 2012. As the Director of Operations, she is absolutely essential to keeping the ministry going on a daily basis, taking care of all the basic needs of the building, ministries, and participants.

Brandi Carter
Executive Assistant
Born and raised in Lubbock, Brandi has been an active volunteer at Lubbock Impact since 2014. She was hired as the Executive Assistant in January of 2020, and her servant’s heart made her the perfect addition to the small staff of Lubbock Impact. Brandi is vital to the success of the ministry, as she performs many different tasks, assisting wherever she is needed.
