Community Meal
The Community Meal, once known as the Soup Kitchen, was the first ministry of Lubbock Impact. Opening in October 2007, the Soup Kitchen served a crowd of approximately 50; now, the Community Meal serves around 150 people each week.
Every Tuesday at 6:00 pm, all are welcome to eat a nourishing meal at Lubbock Impact. Participants are provided delicious meals and desserts in a family-style atmosphere.
While the food is the touchpoint, the true goal of the evening is to build relationships. Our hope is that all who join us for dinner will feel welcomed into the Lubbock Impact family. Enjoying a hot meal together often serves as the gateway to sharing other transformative resources and ministries Lubbock Impact offers.
The success of the Community Meal is a testament to the generous support and dedication of the community. Table hosts, servers, kitchen crew, and cleanup crew who make this happen are made up of local organizations, churches, businesses, athletic teams, individuals, and families.

Sponsor a Community Meal (i.e, our Christmas meal, Thanksgiving meal, Easter Meal. The average cost is $1,500 a meal.)
