Get to know the dedicated individuals who drive our mission of service and support to the Lubbock community. Our team is comprised of passionate and compassionate professionals who work tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing adversity.

Becky Robertson

Executive Director

Becky has worked with nonprofits for over 27 years. When she moved to Lubbock in 2014 with her husband, Matt, she quickly began volunteering to get to know her community. One of the places she served was Lubbock Impact. She loved how they were meeting the immediate physical need of a meal or healthcare of a fellow neighbor. As of March 2021, Becky was hired to lead Lubbock Impact, supervise the ministry growth, and raise funds for all programs. Becky serves at Lubbock Impact for the opportunity to walk alongside others through their need and connect them to resources. Watching people find hope in situations they thought were hopeless keeps Becky serving. In her free time, Becky enjoys serving the Lubbock community through her church as a kindergarten Sunday school teacher, as a member of the Lubbock Lions Club, and other various organizations.

Haley McBrayer, MSW

Program Director

Haley McBrayer started her journey with Lubbock Impact as an intern in 2021. After receiving her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Texas Tech in May of 2023, she came to run the programs at Lubbock Impact. She helps make sure the Clothes Closet, Food & Hygiene Pantry, events, Children’s Ministry, Enrichment Courses, and events run smoothly. She serves Lubbock Impact because she wants to see families and participants come together, overcome struggles, and have wins in their lives. She wants participants to grow in confidence in their ability to provide for themselves and those around them through enrichment opportunities. In her free time, Haley enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jayme Riggins, RT

Clinic Director

Jayme Riggins is Lubbock Impact’s Clinic Director and joined the team in February 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from TTUHSC, is a Registered Respiratory Therapist through Amarillo College, and is an ACLS Instructor with TTUHSC. Jayme brings 24 years of healthcare experience, including 22 years in management in rural health hospitals, including Brownfield. She attends Live Oak Community Church, where she serves as a welcome greeter, special needs buddy, and on the medical team. Jayme and her husband have been married for 16 years and have three children and one grandson. She enjoys playing softball and spending time outdoors and feels connected to Lubbock Impact after first volunteering in the kitchen through her church and seeing the impact of the ministry’s diverse resources firsthand.

Raelynn Beaty

Communications and Volunteer Manager

Raelynn joined Lubbock Impact's team in January 2024. After receiving her Bachelor's in Strategic Communications (BSC) from Liberty University in 2021, she moved back to West Texas. As Communications and Volunteer Manager, Raelynn helps to tell the story of Lubbock Impact through various platforms and welcomes people into serving their community through volunteering their time. People and authentic connection are her passions, and she loves to get to know the stories of those she meets and ultimately, find a way to make them smile. When she is not behind the camera at work, she can be found serving in her beloved church home, scouring a thrift store nearby, trying new coffees, playing any and every pickup sport or spending quality time with her friends.

Ida Garcia

Receptionist

Ida Garcia brings over 35 years of experience in Social Services and Human Resources to Lubbock Impact's reception role. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University in 1993 and is fluent in Spanish. Ida joined the Lubbock Impact team in December 2025. She attends Trinity Church of Lubbock and is devoted to her two adult children, Sarah and Paul, as well as her three dogs, Connor, Jax, and Sombra. She enjoys sewing and gardening in her spare time. Having grown up in a working poor family, Ida feels connected to Lubbock Impact’s ministry, seeing firsthand how its programs and resources provide hope and support to families in need.
