Taste & See
Join us on Thursday, October 24th at Eberley Brooks for our third annual Taste & See fundraiser!
Social hour will be hosted at 6pm followed by dinner and the event program. As part of the event program, we are excited to host a panel of special guests that will share the community-wide impact of the free dental and eye clinics and the TTUHSC Free Medical Clinic hosted at Lubbock Impact. As the reach of the impact of these clinics expands, so do our plans to expand this portion of Lubbock Impact’s ministry- all of which will be presented during the program.
Dress attire is business casual.
We can’t wait to see you there!
The Real Impact
Lubbock Impact is a faith-based nonprofit that has been serving the Lubbock community since 2007. Our mission is to serve the working poor who do not have the resources to meet their basic needs. We come alongside individuals to help by offering resources like the Community Meal, Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Bible studies, worship, and healthcare services for uninsured patients at our no-cost clinics.
Every day, people like Julie* walk through our doors for help. Julie was uninsured and unable to afford insulin for her diabetes. She visited The Free Clinic which helped her get the healthcare she needed. Now she has a stable job and can support herself.
All of Lubbock Impact’s resources and programs are run by volunteers. For example, we partner with Texas Tech Health Science Center, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and social workers who volunteer their time to run The Free Clinic every Wednesday night for uninsured individuals. Local volunteer dentists and optometrists operate Lubbock Impact’s Dental and Eye Clinics. With a small staff of three full-time and one part-time employees, this is a true example of people coming together to meet the critical needs of the Lubbock community.

We need you and your support to continue to operate and fund these resources. Join us on our mission to help alleviate the effects of poverty in our community.
