Free Dental Clinic
Since 2011, Lubbock Impact’s Free Dental Clinic has been a place where those without dental insurance find hope. Dental care is important to the body’s well-being, and The Lubbock Impact Free Dental Clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality, no-cost dental care to those without insurance.
The Lubbock Impact Free Dental Clinic is run by local dentists who volunteer their time and expertise. The dentists are assisted by registered dental assistants who also volunteer their time.
Only tooth extractions are performed.
Each patient is treated with care the moment they walk through the doors. Patients receive a thorough dental examination and X-ray. When necessary, a tooth extraction will be conducted. To aid in recovery, each patient receives an oral surgery patient care package which includes all of the essentials needed to care for their mouth after the operation.
For many of our patients, this is the first time a tooth has been pulled. We want them to have the best experience possible.
At Lubbock Impact’s Free Dental Clinic, we believe that prevention is the key to long-term oral health. During their visit, patients are equipped with the knowledge and resources to maintain healthy teeth and gums in the future.
The Dental Clinic sees patients by appointment only on Wednesday evenings and is available only to adults 19 years of age and older who do not have insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare Dental Supplement. If you meet these criteria and need tooth extractions, please call Lubbock Impact at 806-799-4329 to make an appointment. The Free Dental Clinic is currently on a waiting list. We will not be adding any new patients to the list until after January 20th, 2025, to allow our volunteer dentists to catch up on the current waiting list. Thank you for your patience.
How to Be Seen at the Free Dental Clinic
If you are wanting to be seen at the clinic, please come directly to the clinic door on the south side of the Lubbock Impact building. The door will open at 4:00 pm when volunteers who run the clinic arrive.
