Lubbock Impact has had the honor of hosting many volunteer groups and organizations over the past few weeks. We are so thankful for the churches, organizations, groups, and businesses who come volunteer their time and effort to serve the working poor of Lubbock. Each and every volunteer has played a vital role to keep Lubbock Impact moving forward, whether that is helping a participant in the Clothes Closet, or pulling weeds in the parking lot. Here are some of the groups who we’ve had the privilege of serving alongside!Â
- Ninety-Two Bakery and Cafe came to help serve dinner!
- Many moms and daughters with NCL have helped serve at Lubbock Impact Kid’s Camp.
- Covenant Medical Group came and went through clothes and shoes.
- Closet. Lakeridge Country Club Golf Ladies came to sort and tag clothes.
- Jovens for Christ came and did yard work, cleaned the kitchen, and worked in the Clothes Closet.
- H-E-B came to help run Kid’s Camp!
- A crew from World Finance came to deep clean and sort clothes.
- Lubbock Mission Church sponsored a VBS at Lubbock Impact
- Highpoint Villagers made their last dessert before taking a short break for the summer.
